Chaplaincy Opportunities
The North American Mission Board (NAMB) partners with local Southern Baptist churches, associations, and conventions to facilitate the proclamation of the gospel through the endorsement process. The Chaplains Commission approves the endorsement of SBC ministers as chaplains and counselors in ministry.
The Chaplains Commission and the Chaplaincy Team provide endorsement to using agencies. We do not employ persons for chaplaincy. We do not assign persons to chaplaincy positions. In some cases endorsement is needed to include in employment applications; in other cases endorsement will follow employment by a using agency. See the “Chaplaincy Links” for ministry opportunities.
Using agencies welcome the ministries offered by vocational and volunteer chaplains and counselors in ministry. Learn more at the links below.
