HEALTH CARE MINISTRIES

More than 37 million people in the United States have limited access to health care.  Southern Baptist churches, associations, transitional life centers, and state conventions have begun medical/dental ministries.  Many of these are church based medical/dental clinics; however, mobile clinics, health fairs, and ministries to those with HIV/AIDS are represented as well.    

These ministries exist to care for people as Jesus did – in spoken word and healing action.  In working with one of these ministries, or starting this in your church, you can learn to share Jesus, the Great Physician, with others through health care.  Review the items below and consider what you can do NOW!
