People Group/Interfaith Evangelism

Who We Are:

The People Group/Interfaith Evangelism Team assists Southern Baptists in reaching people groups and faith groups in the United States, Canada, and territories with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Ministry Goals:

• Develop resources for reaching people groups and faith groups in their heart language with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Establish a network of consultants to equip and engage Southern Baptists to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in culturally-relevant ways.
• Partner strategically with SBC state conventions, associations and ethnic fellowships to mobilize churches for reaching people groups and faith groups with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Partner with SBC colleges and seminaries in training future ministry leaders for reaching people groups and faith groups with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Establish programs and resources to reach people groups and faith groups in the international diplomatic communities within the United States and Canada.

Resources:

Most of our online resources are available free of charge through www.4Truth.net, (available in English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Arabic languages) which provides:

• Articles on a broad range of cults, sects and non-Christian religions. This includes material formerly published as Belief Bulletins and as part of the "A Closer Look" series. All articles may be downloaded and printed and are available in English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Arabic.
• Articles and audio focused on the defense of the Christian faith (apologetics) in areas such as science, philosophy, and the nature of God.
• Develops language resources in Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and others 
• Provides video and printed materials for purchase, including award-winning videos on Mormonism, Islam and Jehovah's Witnesses. Another invaluable resource is the "Cross the Bridge...To Understanding Other Faiths Comparative Belief Chart" which examines 20 different belief systems in ten essential doctrines.
