Senior Leadership Team
The North American Mission Board (NAMB) exists to proclaim the gospel; start New Testament churches; to minister to persons in the name of Christ, and to assist churches in performing these functions. The president leads NAMB in these efforts by giving emphasis to our Major Ministry Objectives--Sharing Christ, Starting Churches, and Sending Missionaries. The president is supported in his endeavors by two senior assistants and an administrative staff. The NAMB organizational structure includes five groups, each led by a senior strategist who reports directly to the president.

Church Planting Group
The Church Planting Group partners with churches, associations, and state conventions in the United States, U.S. Territories, and Canada to plant healthy, reproducing churches filled with an evangelistic passion. The group's process moves through enlistment and missional networks, readiness, equipping, and implementation.

Evangelization Group
The Evangelization Group places the uncompromised gospel of Jesus Christ in the social, cultural, and linguistic context of the hearer so he or she may respond and be discipled through a local church to lead others to Jesus.

Missions Support Group
The Missions Support Group supports NAMB in areas such as missions advancement, finances, information services, church financing, donor development, facilities and events, and vendor services.  This group also communicates NAMB's mission and vision through Annie Armstrong Easter Offering® promotion, video, exhibits, Web sites, e-mail newsletters, On Mission magazine, and other media.

Partnership Missions and Mobilization Group
The Partnership Missions and Mobilization Group coordinates key partnerships with state conventions and associations and leadership initiatives such as Strategic Focus Cities, volunteer mobilization efforts, mission education, and the Acts 1:8 Challenge.  This group works with state conventions and fellowships in strategy and budget development.  It also includes the Center for Missions Research, which seeks to help Christian leaders make strategic missional decisions by researching culture, analyzing churches, and evaluating ministry effectiveness.

Sending Missionaries Group
The Sending Missionaries Group seeks to discover, deploy, and develop missionaries who serve jointly with our state partners in sharing Christ and starting churches throughout North America.  Missionary/Chaplain Commissioning Celebrations are coordinated by the Sending Missionaries staff.
