A Partner Update from Rich Carney...
Blessings Everyone,
You know change is coming when you see and smell Azaleas and of course when Tiger Woods comes to town for the Masters—it’s definitely spring in Georgia. But there is a spiritual season of change taking place in a city we call Baltimore. The following is a brief but important update on Embrace Baltimore. Please continue to pray and partner with Embrace Baltimore in the coming months.
As of April 11, 2008………….
Local Church Participation…41 of 64 Baltimore Baptist Churches have connected with Embrace Baltimore to host an evangelistic outreach this summer. We expect to see more than 75% of the Association actively engaged in the coming days. We have found that the active participation and interaction in Strategic Focus City's first year of implementation to be a strong predictor of exponential fruit bearing in the second and subsequent years of implementation. It also provides local churches the opportunity to go beyond hearing and talking about "best practices" to "experiencing and seeing" first hand the blessings of a spiritual harvest.
Intercessory Prayer…40,907 Prayer Intercessors have been mobilized to intercede for Baltimore! Praise the Lord. We continue to experience the supernatural benefits that flow from a concert of intentionally focused prayer.
Church Planting…Three new churches have been birthed in Baltimore with seven others in some form of development since January 1st. Its nothing short of amazing to see the magnitude of work and partnership with more than 17 church to church partnerships developed in just three and half months.
