Thursday, October 22 – Entreat the Lord to teach us that praying for the Word of God to have free course, spread rapidly, and be honored and glorified in our nation is a major revival request. Ask God to cause His Word to spread rapidly throughout our nation and for it to be esteemed.

“Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it did also with you” (2 Thess. 3:1, NASB).

Friday, October 23 – Seek God’s help to teach us how inseparably the powerful proclamation of the Word of God and prayer are tied.  Ask God to raise up intercessors and to restore the church of our nation to the priority of prayer.

“And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves” (Matt. 21:13, KJV).

Saturday, October 24 – Pray fervently that the Word of God would spread rapidly, and be glorified in our families, schools, churches, and governmental agencies. Beg God to make His Word honored in convicting and converting sinners and cleansing of the saints.

“FURTHERMORE, BRETHREN, do pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may speed on (spread rapidly and run its course) and be glorified (extolled) and triumph, even as [it has done] with you” (2 Thess. 3:1, AMP).

Sunday, October 25 – Ask God to help us realize that the heart of our problem is our apathy in spreading God’s Word. Beg God to help us set our hearts to pray for His Word to spread and be glorified in our land a matter of urgent and constant prayer.

“FURTHERMORE, BRETHREN, do pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may speed on (spread rapidly and run its course) and be glorified (extolled) and triumph, even as [it has done] with you” (2 Thess. 3:1, AMP).

Monday, October 26 – Implore God to open the eyes of pastors and teachers that they may see the glory of Christ in the gospel and proclaim it so that people will see, hear, believe and honor the truth. 

“And he said, I beseech thee, show me thy glory” (Ex. 33:18, KJV).

Tuesday, October 27 – Beg God to cause the Word to go forth with authority, preached not as the words of men, but as the Word of God.

“Even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life” (John 17:2, NASB).

Wednesday, October 28 – Beseech God to help us face the fact that His Word is not running rapidly without hindrance and being honored in our nation. Ask God to unleash His word to flourish and spread.

“But the word of the Lord continued to increase and spread.”(Acts 12:24, NIV ).
