How to Pray for Public Servants, Police, and Firefighters

  • Pray for safety on the job and for wisdom in handling the demands of their jobs. (See Ps. 91; Jer. 33:3.)
  • Pray for the families of public servants to have peace that God is in control and will protect them and their public servant spouse or parent. (See Ps. 37.)
  • Pray for public servants to continue to grow in their faith in God through Jesus. (See Eph. 1:16-19; Phil. 1:6.)
  • Pray for Christian public servants to be salt and light to those in their precincts and fire stations that do not know Jesus. (See Matt. 5:13-16.)
