Prayer Connection - July 21, 2009

Dear Beloved Intercessor,

What a joy to see changed lives, knowing only God can work supernaturally in one’s heart. God alone gets the glory from the stories about the 1036 individuals who prayed to receive Christ during Crossover in Louisville, in conjunction with the Southern Baptist Convention. The follow up is assurance that decisions were real and discipleship is beginning. Pray that each one will grow and pass on the Good News of Jesus. I hope you will pray for someone without Jesus, and ask God to give you opportunities to pass on your faith too.

Enjoy the article about over 300 people being baptized in one weekend at FBC Orlando.

“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God . . . With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” (Matt. 19:24-26, NASB).

Thank you for praying and for being on the NAMB prayer team.

For God's glory,
Elaine Helms

Scripture
“’Return to me, and I will return to you’ . . . ” (Mal. 3:7, NIV).

Prayer
Lord, we confess that we have done wrong and turned from You, Your ways and purposes. Please correct and revive us for Your name’s sake. In Jesus’ name, amen.

God at Work Story:  337 baptized at First Baptist Orlando

God is definitely at work across North America as large groups are being led by Him to get right with Him and be baptized. This is another story that illustrates how God is building His kingdom one life at a time.
