God Answers a Navajo Christian's Prayer

Over in Navajo land six years ago while on a mission trip to the reservation in New Mexico, a little Navajo lady prayed a heartfelt prayer. She prayed "Lord, let a spiritual awakening come to my people. Let them Know my Jesus as I do."

Now God is answering that prayer.

Louisiana and Texas Baptist Conventions are answering the call. 54 mission teams from Louisiana and Texas will hold simultaneous revivals on October 13, 14, 15 2009 among The Navaho, Apache & Pueblo Indian Baptist churches. Each team will consist of a preacher, music leader and children's leader.

This is the vision of Randy Carruth Of "I am able ministries" of Forest hill, La. We met with leaders of both conventions for preparations May 21-22 in Alexandra, La. The spirit of the lord was present as each team was assigned their Indian church.

Our ministry is proud to be part of this. After nine years of ministering to our Native American Baptist churches, this truly is a moving of the Holy Spirit.
