Associational Strategies
The Associational Strategies Team seeks to provide learning opportunities for Directors of Missions and other associational staff through the:
Seven Basic Initiatives
- LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Our team seeks to identify, enlist, and equip potential Directors of Missions. We offer training to help them to determine what an effective and relevant association can be and must be in today’s world.
- LEARNING LABS
Our team utilizes effective associations as “learning laboratories”. These learning laboratories provide on-site, customized learning experiences for a Director of Missions to enhance his skills in specific areas such as church planting and leadership development.
- COACHING / MENTORING
Our team provides a network of Directors of Missions as coaches / mentors for new Directors of Missions and other associational staff who desire to be strengthened spiritually, personally, and professionally.
- STRATEGY PLANNING
Our team provides a strategic diagnostic process for associations to help them connect with the needs of their churches. Strategies are then designed and implemented to help the churches move forward in their ministries.
- ASSOCIATIONAL PERSONNEL PEER LEARNING EVENT – APPLE
Our team works with state and associational leaders to provide regional learning gatherings such as APPLE Conferences. We utilize practitioners in the field that encourage peer learning, networking, and the building of synergy.
- Work with state and associational leaders to provide a 12 month process that assists DOMs in leading their churches to develop a strategy to become healthy, multiplying, evangelistic, Acts 1:8 churches;
- Work with Networks of Southern Baptist Associations to provide both financial and personnel support. These include the SBCADOMs, NoBA, AIM, State DOM Fellowships, MARED and ARE, etc.
