Demographic Reports

Your community is changing every day as the people that live within it also change. Income patterns fluctuate, family composition changes, and lifestyle priorities of residents alter. The local church and other missional entities are often left to wrestle with this quick pace of change without a clear sense as to what is actually occurring within their community. Present changes are not the only concern; you also need to know how your community will change next year or even five years from now.

If you are a part of a Southern Baptist church, you can log in here to access the Request Form. You may want to review the information below about the request form before you begin. (Please add cmrdemographics@namb.net to the address list in your email program so that it won't be blocked or sent to the junk email folder.)

• The Request Form Has Four Sections: 
  • The data required in the first section provides us with the general information we need, including whether you want a brief report or a full report.
  • The next two sections are identified as Option 1 – Ring Study and Option 2 – Area Study. You choose and enter data for only one of these sections, not both.
  • Lastly, there is an optional section for “additional comments.”
     
• The Full Report
  • In addition to the many individual reports provided, the collective “full report” includes all the maps you see identified below.
  • Experience shows those maps marked with an “*” are typically all that churches use. However, those maps not marked with an “*” are optionally available to you as well.
  • If you choose the full report in the first section, you will receive 30+ pages of individual reports with an additional 14 standard and thematic maps to supplement your research and understanding.
  • We also have a consultant available at no cost to you to provide phone support should you have any questions or need assistance in understanding the contents of the full report.

To receive any of the optional maps, or to decline any of the standard maps, use the “additional comments” section at the bottom of the form. Simply tell us which optional maps you need, or which standard maps you do not care to see. We will do the rest!

What to Expect
After you enter the data and submit the form, you may expect to receive an e-mail with a link to a PDF file. It can take up to 3 days to process a request, but many churches will receive their report delivery e-mail within 24 hours. When your e-mail comes, just click on the PDF file link to open and view the report and maps. You may also print the PDF file if you desire a hardcopy of the report and maps. Note: the full report may take 3-4 minutes to open even on a high-speed Internet line.
