Demographic Reports
- What is in the reports? It includes information on population trends and projections, income distribution, ethnic breakdowns, education attainment, age, and sex. It also includes a full detailed analysis of population segments with their consumer habits, their recreational activities, and their personal values. Additionally, more than 30 thematic maps are included. The topics for these maps range from automobile traffic to detailed demographics (e.g., age, sex, income, education, ethnicity), to the locations of existing Southern Baptist churches.

Who is eligible to receive them? It is free to all Southern Baptist churches, associations, conventions, and partner entities.

Request Form:
Once logged in, you will be taken to the request form where you will fill out the information needed to process the demographic report. Please be sure to fill out the form completely including your church/organization and your contact information in case there are any questions.

Report type: You can request one of two types of studies:

a ring study (rings around your specified address) measured either in miles or drivetime minutes

an area study (a general report on a geographic area-state, county, city)

How can I find out about North American people groups?

Click on the "Knowing Community" link in the left hand navigation, and you will see a section called " people groups." There you will find a link to the North American People Groups Project.

How do I find research on a specific topic?

Church: For research related to church (attendance, baptism, worship, etc.), click on the "Knowing Church" tab in the left hand navigation of the Center for Missional Research website. The "Knowing Church" Fact File topics will be listed on the right side of the webpage. They are listed in a continuous index format, so the most recent items will be posted at the front of the index.

Culture: For research related to culture (abortion, family, marriage, gambling, etc.), click on the "Knowing Culture" tab in the left hand navigation of the Center for Missional Research website. The "Knowing Culture" Fact File topics will be listed on the right side of the webpage. They are listed in a continuous index format, so the most recent items will be posted at the front of the index.
