Church and Community Ministries
Church and Community Ministries at NAMB exists to assist Southern Baptists in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed.
There are nearly 200 church and community ministries missionaries jointly appointed by NAMB and State Conventions, and their ministry results in nearly 10,000 professions of faith each year. Areas of ministry include hunger, homelessness, literacy, health care, job skills, migrant ministries, substance abuse, welfare to work and disabilities ministries. Every state convention has a contact person assigned to assist churches in these area.
