Lay Ministry Weekend

God has equipped you perfectly for His task. The commissioning phase of church renewal is launched by the Lay Ministry Weekend. It is a journey outward. You will see that each day as you move among friends and family and into the marketplaces of the world, you are on mission for Jesus Christ (Luke 5:1-11).

Up to this point, the emphasis has been on an inward journey. The Lay Ministry Weekend is a call to personal ministry and evangelism in the world and to personal discipleship. Christians discover their spiritual gifts. You are challenged to think about practical applications of gifts to evangelism and ministry. Identifying community needs for ministry are also explored.
