2009 Schedule of Chaplaincy Development Conferences
The Chaplaincy Evangelism Team offers several types of development conferences for Southern Baptist chaplains and counselors in ministry.

Naitional Sponsored Events Registration
Registration is via the Cvent online system. When the date below is highlighted, then registration is open for the conference. Simply "click" on the date and follow the web pages that appear. Registration fees may apply depending on the conference location. Questions should be directed to the Chaplaincy office by phone or e-mail.
The Regional Conference setting will be at the Southern Baptist seminary campuses. There are three regional conferences at retreat centers, along with two conferences outside the continental United States.
Seminar subject matter: "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Biblical Foundations for Response by Chaplains " Chaplains receive training regarding this common diagnosis regarding emotional response to trauma. PTSD also impacts the spiritual fabric of a person's life. This seminar will bring out the Biblical foundation which should undergird and inform a chaplain's response to care of person suffering from PTSD. Seminar and break out sessions will focus on a examine the process of spiritual healing. This topic is intended for chaplains and spouses.

Combat Chaplain Refreshment Program
This special program is offered to Southern Baptist endorsed military chaplains who will or have experienced deployment of 3 months or more. Military Chaplain should contact the Chaplaincy Office about details.
