MISSION STATEMENT
The Baptist Developmental Disabilities Ministries Fellowship is a Christian organization of persons whose lives have been affected by Developmental Disabilities. The fellowship advocates Christian alternatives for:
* Residences
* Education
* Assimilation
* Lifelong Care
* Initiatives
* Training

OBJECTIVES
* Promote the development of long term residential care
* Promote the development of short term respite care
* Promote physical access to public and private facilities
* Promote assimilation of persons with developmental disabilities into congregational life.
* Provide and promote support to families and care givers.
* Promote estate planning for the purpose of providing lifelong care for persons with developmental disabilities.
* Affirm the individual worth and human dignity of persons with developmental disabilities as created in the image of God.
* Create awareness of the need for disabilities ministries in the local church
* Provide fellowship and networking opportunities
* Provide research and study in non-traditional approaches to the assessment and treatment of persons with developmental disabilities
* Provide resources
* Provide training
MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to anyone involved in or interested in ministry to persons with developmental disabilities and their families. Membership categories are as follows
Student: $5
Caregivers: $10
Individuals $25
Families $35
Churches $50
Organizations $100
