Construction Opportunities

OPERATION NOAH REBUILD began rebuilding Hurricane Katrina ravaged houses and churches in New Orleans early in the spring of 2006.  Since then, over 22,000 volunteers from all 50 states and Canada have participated in this rebuild effort.  A partnership project between the North American Mission Board, Louisiana Baptist Convention, and the Baptist Association of Greater New Orleans, the goal of Operation NOAH Rebuild is to rebuild 1,000 houses and 20 churches using volunteer labor by August 2009. Thousands more construction volunteers are needed to meet this goal to return New Orleans homeowners to their homes.
