Our North American Mission Board missionaries and chaplains count on Southern Baptists to provide prayer support and are encouraged and empowered in their ministries and lives through your prayers. As William Carey stated, “I will venture to go down, but remember that you must ‘hold the ropes.’” As he went, others were needed to “hold the ropes” of prayer support.

As a church, Sunday school class, mission group, or individual, you are offered a great opportunity to connect and pray for North American missionaries and chaplains through the Missionary Encourager ministry.

Your prayers empower their lives and work, multiply their efforts, and encourage them personally. Our missionaries/chaplains depend on your prayers to encircle them, allowing them to reap the full benefits of their calling to go.
