Southern Baptist volunteers continue to help American Samoans rebuild their homes damaged by the tsunami which struck the island in October 2009. Larry and Elaine Koch from Kentucky arrived in Pago Pago on January 7th for a three-month stay. While there the Kochs will provide leadership to the Southern Baptist response.

Disaster relief response far from over in American Samoa

Support American Samoa Relief Efforts
American Samoa is a part of the Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention. The convention has established a fund for individuals and organizations wishing to support the relief efforts underway in the wake of the tsunami that struck the Samoa island chain.
Donations may be mailed to the Hawaii Baptist Convention, Samoa Disaster Relief Fund, 2042 Vancouver Drive, Honolulu, Hawaii 96822.
Donations may be made online through the North American Mission Board by selecting Tsunami relief under Donation Information. Donations designated in this manner will be forwarded to the Hawaii Pacific Convention for use in the relief effort.
