How to Pray for Missionaries

• Pray that more people will be obedient to the call of God to be missionaries.  Read Matthew 9:37-38, 28:19-20.
• Pray for the missionary's own relationship with God, that they will continue to grow spiritually and be nourished by the Word. Read Ephesians 1:15-23 and Philippians 1:9-11.
• Pray for the missionary's personal needs: health, safety, family relationships, discouragement, and loneliness. Read Psalm 91:1-4, 11.
• Pray for the missionary to clearly communicate the gospel and have boldness in witnessing. Read Ephesians 6:19 and Colossians 4:4.
• Pray for the lost to hear the gospel, to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.Read Romans 10:9-10, 13 and 2 Peter 3:9.
• Pray for the missionary's acceptance by coworkers and unity in the body of Christ.Read John 17:21 and Romans 15:31b. 
• Pray for extension of the missionary's ministry and fruitfulness in spiritual endeavors.
  Read Colossians 4:2-3, and 2 Thessalonians 3:1.
