International Mission Focus

• ADOPT A MISSIONARY or two for the year. Choose specific names of missionaries that you will pray for weekly and to whom you will write to let them know you are praying. As you correspond with them, you will get to know them and may even have opportunity to meet them during the year. Encourage others to adopt a missionary, too.
• Make a list of people that you want to pray for regularly. Suggestions to consider include your family, pastor, friends, neighbors, and lost people within your sphere of influence. Write these names on the days that you want to remember to pray for them each week. 
• Encourage your church to ADOPT AN UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUP from the IMB and pray corporately once a month for them. Call 1 888 462-7729 for additional information.
• Praise God for the privilege to work with Him through your prayers. "As you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many" 2 Cor. 1:11).
  

Weekly Prayer Items

Every 7th day, believers will pray for national political leaders, the North American Mission Board executive leadership team, Southern Baptist seminaries and their presidents, as well as local church and community leadership.

Daily Prayer List Items

In a 31 day period believers will pray for all the states/provinces in the United States and Canada  including prayer for Southern Baptist leadership. In addition, each day has an international prayer focus and blank spaces are provided where missionaries, non-Christians, and other prayer requests can be placed.
