Sometimes, ministry is awesome. Other times, not so much.<\/p>\n

There might be times you think you\u2019re alone, and while we all know and preach Jesus is\u00a0Emmanuel<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 “God with us” \u2013 there might be a season you feel your prayers bounce off the ceiling. You have no one in your corner, and you\u2019re all alone.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s a lie from the pit of hell, but in difficult seasons, when you just can\u2019t seem to catch a break, you need to know there\u2019s help.<\/p>\n

Reach out<\/strong><\/p>\n

Find a fellow pastor or a few in your tribe who\u2019ll have your back.<\/p>\n

Maybe they\u2019re seasoned pastors who\u2019ve been through the ups and downs of ministry. Maybe they\u2019re close enough to grab a cup of coffee \u2013 anytime, anywhere, no questions asked.<\/p>\n

If you can\u2019t find one, reach out to your local and state denominational leaders and ask them to connect you with someone.<\/p>\n

Get help<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve written about mental health before<\/a>, but don\u2019t hesitate to seek professional help.<\/p>\n

There may be things going on that require more than a phone call or cup of coffee with a trusted friend. Commit,\u00a0right now<\/u>, to get whatever help you need.<\/p>\n

This list isn\u2019t meant to be exhaustive, but a gentle reminder that you\u2019re not alone. Help is out there, and\u00a0this storm will pass<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Until it passes, know you\u2019re loved far more than you\u2019ll ever know this side of heaven.<\/p>\n
