Casual dress is fine! Some people will wear slacks and a button-up shirt to the evening dinners, and some will be in jeans or shorts the entire time. Pastor Johnny will most likely teach in jeans and even wear them to dinner, so it really depends on what you are most comfortable wearing. It’s a retreat, so please dress casually, and enjoy yourself while at the retreat.
Special Dietary Needs
If you or your spouse have serious dietary needs (food allergies, gluten intolerance, etc.), please email Katie Bell, firstname.lastname@example.org, so we can pass on your information to the hotel chef for times that we will have meals together as a group. Keep in mind that if you share a dietary need with us to pass on to the chef, you must still make your table captain, waitress or waiter aware at mealtime, so they know where you are located and how to best accommodate you. They will not otherwise know where you are seated.
Most attendees stay in downtown Gatlinburg hotels close enough to walk to the Mills Auditorium. If you will be driving to the retreat each day, there is public parking available across the street from the Mills Auditorium entrance on Historic Nature Trail. There is no free parking available for the Convention Center.
