What is an On Mission Connection (OMC)?

OMC is an association-wide or an association of churches missions event involving missionaries from Southern Baptist state Baptist conventions, the International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board that is scheduled through the OMC process.

It can be a one-day or weekend event, or it can be incorporated into any associational missions-awareness event, such as a missions fair or banquet that encourages Christians to find their strategic place in missions.

This can also be used as an associational missions awareness strategy implemented in partnership with state Baptist conventions, the International Mission Board in Richmond, Va., the North American Mission Board in Alpharetta, Ga. and Woman's Missionary Union in Birmingham, Ala.
