How Your Gifts Helped a NAMB Missionary in Need

Philip Nache, his wife Jummai and their family emigrated from Nigeria, Africa. They moved to the Twin Cities, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota to plant Hope of the Nations Gospel Church in 2015 as North American Mission Board (NAMB) missionaries.

Amid planting their church, they’ve experienced immense suffering. Jummai recently endured a medical crisis requiring both her legs and one of her hands to be amputated. This incident put their family in severe need.

Because of the generosity of Southern Baptists through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (AAEO) and the Cooperative Program (CP), NAMB was able to bless the Nache family with a brand new, handicap-accessible van. One hundred percent of the AAEO and CP dollars goes to serving church planting families like the Naches, especially in times of need.
