ALPHARETTA, Ga. – The North American Mission Board (NAMB) hosted the first Send Network Orientation of 2023 from March 20-22, with 200 church planting missionaries sent out from 174 different churches. Together, they will plant in 34 states and three Canadian provinces, sharing the gospel in seven different languages.

More than 60 of the church planters who attended this week are working through Send Network Español to plant Hispanic churches.

“We had an incredible time at Send Network Orientation,” said Send Network President Vance Pitman. “I am so thankful for this class of church planters and their passion for God’s kingdom to be expanded locally and globally. Please pray for these men and their families as they engage their communities with the gospel.”

Send Network Orientation introduces Southern Baptist church planting missionaries to the Send Network family by leading them through several core values: deepen devotion, think multiplication, stick together, engage your city and seek first the kingdom.

The missionaries will join the ranks of thousands of other Southern Baptist church planting missionaries who have started new churches since 2010.
