Pray for it

By Replant

‘Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.’ Matthew 7:7-8

Replanter know this—you will experience set backs and loss. You will find yourself in places where strategy and hard work won’t move the church forward an inch.

You’ll need a worship leader, children’s volunteers, a sound tech and enough money to address a much needed building repair.

You’ll experience conflict so intense and loneliness so deep that you will wonder if you can recover or just simply keep going.

Your car will break down, you’ll have an unexpected medical expense.

You’ll hit the office, sit down and think—what have I gotten myself into?

Know this: Every need you have has been met in Jesus Christ. Every provision you need is in the Father’s hands and he will provide.

What must you do? Ask in prayer for God to meet your needs.

  • Need a worship leader—ask
  • Need money for your car repair—ask
  • Need God to bring supernatural unity—ask
  • Need a sign that God is working—ask
  • Need a friend—ask

You can choose to be anxious about what you need or don’t have or you can ask God to provide.

Ask and keep on asking and then rejoice at the blessings God provides.

Prayer is a vital part of any church revitalization. An incredibly helpful guide can be found at Renovate
