Endel Lee, B.A., MDiv., M.R.E., PhD., & RDML. (Ret.) Chaplain Corps, U. S. Navy
Endel Lee was raised in a rural community called Tanner Williams, near Mobile, AL. Ordained in 1986, he has served in ministry roles to include: senior pastor, assistant pastor, interim pastor, hospital chaplain, military chaplain, disaster response national chaplain coordinator, as well as a seminary and college professor. He retired as the Church Planting Catalyst for Military Communities with the North American Mission Board (SBC) in 2023. He currently is focused on being “G-Paw” to his grandchildren and fulfilling other duties as orchestrated by God.
Lee retired from the military in 2020, after serving over 38 years in the Marine Corps Reserve and Navy Reserve. He began as an enlisted marine, became a marine officer with a commanding officer tour, and served as a Navy Reserve Chaplain during the last 27 years of his career with seven mobilizations, including three overseas combat deployments, and responses to NYC 9-11 and Katrina. His last military assignment was serving as the Navy Deputy Chief of Chaplains for Reserve Matters at the Pentagon.
Endel is married to the former Kathy Perkins, originally from Bay Minnette, AL. The Lee’s have two adult sons: Hunter, sharing life with Hillary; and Cody, along with four grandchildren: Bella, Xander, Sawyer and Ezra.
