How can I directly support the local ministry of a missionary or chaplain?

You may designate gifts to support the local ministry of a missionary by giving online or by check. To give online, locate the missionary’s ministry page by visiting the Missionary Directory.

To give by check, make your check payable to the North American Mission Board.

For IRS compliance, do not write the missionary’s name on your check memo line. Rather, write their ministry fund ID on the memo line or enclose a separate note stating the missionary name and their ministry fund ID.
