David Tarkington surrendered his life to Jesus Christ in his fourth grade Sunday School class at Trinity Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. David’s father was career Air Force, so he has lived in numerous states. He was born in west Tennessee, but has called Orange Park home since 1994. He attended Texas Wesleyan University for two years where he played on the basketball team. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas, a Masters of Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Educational Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
