Reach the Nations Right Here

The 2026 FIFA World Cup runs June 11–July 19 across 16 host cities in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. With 5–6.5 million attendees, 5–6 billion global viewers, and 15–25 million Fan Fest visitors expected, this is one of the greatest evangelism opportunities of our lifetime.

The North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board have partnered to equip churches and believers to turn World Cup conversations into gospel conversations — reaching fans from every nation, right in your own backyard.

How Can My Church Get Involved?

Create opportunities that will open doors to gospel conversations:

Prayer Guide
As people from every nation gather in person and virtually for World Cup, we are reminded that what ultimately unites the world is not sport, but lostness—and the deep need for a Savior. Here's ways to specifically pray for evangelism efforts.
Host Watch Parties
Invite neighbors and community members to watch matches together, creating a natural setting for conversation and gospel witness.
Attend Fan Fests
Go where the fans are. Attend Fan Fests and games to interact with international visitors and share the gospel in the moment.
Sports Clinics & Pop-Up Games
Plan soccer clinics or pickup games to generate interest and build relationships with fans and families in your area.
Street Engagement
Consider engagement near fan zones and stadiums. Distribute Scripture and use evangelism resources to connect with attendees.
Digital Responder
Can't be there in person? Sign up at wcinitiativewc.com to be trained as a volunteer digital responder, answering questions and sharing the gospel online.
Evangelism Merchandise
Get QR-coded stickers, patches, lanyards, and wristbands from nambstore.com — each one links fans to the Who Am I? gospel website in their own language.
