Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. He received a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and a Doctor of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
Prior to coming to NAMB, Kevin served as senior pastor of Highview Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky, for 14 years.
He and his wife, Lynette, have six children, Anna, Shelly, Taylor, John Michael, Libby, and Micah Lyn. The Ezells are also blessed with six grandchildren.
The North American Mission Board is the mission entity of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) that exists to work with churches, associations and state conventions in mobilizing Southern Baptists for their next step in missions through evangelism and church planting. NAMB helps churches send the hope of the gospel in two primary ways:
Send Network is NAMB’s church planting ministry. Through Send Network, NAMB provides assessment, training, coaching and planter care support for Southern Baptist church planting missionaries. NAMB also helps equip churches for church planting and helps them discover and develop potential church planters in their congregation.
Send Relief is NAMB’s compassion ministry partnership with IMB. Through Send Relief, NAMB helps pastors and churches become involved locally, nationally, and internationally with compassion ministry. NAMB’s focus in this area includes poverty, refugees and internationals, foster care and adoption, human trafficking and disaster response.
