Our team just returned from our NAMB Evangelism Kit Training in Indianapolis, where we had the opportunity to equip and encourage others to live on mission and share the Gospel.
One thing we emphasized: Evangelism starts with prayer. 🙏
Pray for the people around you. Look for opportunities. Start the conversation. Share Jesus.
You don’t have to be a pastor to share the Gospel. You just have to be willing.
The world is looking for hope. We know where it’s found.
The need is Jesus.
The hope we have is in Jesus.
And the message we’re called to share is the good news of Jesus.

You can`t reach people you don`t understand. 👀
Knowing where your church sits on a map isn`t the same as knowing your community. Who are your neighbors? What do they value? Until you can answer that, "outreach" is just guessing.
J.J. Washington shares 3 simple steps to actually know and reach your community:
1️⃣ Gather information
2️⃣ Analyze it
3️⃣ Identify gospel insights—the barriers, bridges, and actions God is inviting you to take.
One pastor found his church`s average age was 72... while his community`s was 36. Instead of a problem, he saw a bridge—equipping older members to disciple younger families nearby.
Evangelism doesn`t start with strategy. It starts with compassion.

PRAISE REPORT: Planter Michael Cooper and ValleyLight Church (West Valley, Utah) just celebrated 12 baptisms!
The road to Jordanelle State Park led somewhere unexpected.
On July 19th, ValleyLight Church gathered for a lake day after service — fellowship, sun, and water. Nobody expected it to become a baptism service.
It started with one man.
During church announcements, he stood up and said something simple: he wanted to be baptized in living water — not a tank, but water that moves. That was the spark. A handful of new believers heard him say it out loud, and something shifted in them too. One by one, they raised their hands to join him, and by the time they reached the lake, 12 adults were ready to be baptized.
12 adults. One lake. One man`s willingness to say what he wanted out loud — and a church that was ready to follow him into the water. This is what happens when a church plant doesn`t just preach the gospel, but creates room for people to respond to it in real time. 🙌
