Mobilize My Church

Sending Church

A Sending Church partners with a new church plant with prayer, participation and provision, taking responsibility for the plant until it is self-sustaining, self-governing and self-propagating.

Sending Churches take the lead role in planting new churches. They demonstrate their commitment to the plant’s long-term success by ensuring the planter has been properly assessed and trained, celebrating and encouraging the planter by commissioning him, ensuring ongoing care and coaching and providing accountability for giving, conduct and teaching.

The resources below are designed to help Sending Churches better understand and fill their role. A Sending Church Lab is a great place to learn best practices from some of the nation’s best Sending Church pastors.
