Christine chats with Denisse Cabrera about her life and ministry as a church planting wife. Denisse and her husband Felix planted a church in Oklahoma, but after Hurricane Maria hit their native Puerto Rico in 2018, they knew God was calling them home to minister to their fellow Puerto Ricans and meet the many needs generated by the hurricane.
Denisse shares about the joys and challenges of church planting and why, she says, being obedient to God's will isn't always a joyful ride. She gives us insight on how we can pursue contentment in obeying God's will even when it's difficult.
