Today kicks off a brand new season of By Faith! The theme for Season 7 is “In Their Shoes.” Each week, I’ll be talking with a guest about a specific experience in their life, letting us step into their lives, so we can learn how to better love our brothers, sisters, family members, and neighbors. I can’t wait to share these conversations with you!
My first guest of the season is Rachel Gilson. Rachel is the author of Born Again This Way and the tagline of her book says it all, “Coming Out, Coming to Faith, and What Comes Next.” In today’s episode, Rachel shares about coming out as gay as a teenager, heading to Yale University for undergrad, and then becoming a Christian. She talks about what her newfound faith meant for her sexuality and what she wants us to know about our friends who experience same-sex attraction.
